Dick Williams, LSW, ACSW is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Marywood University's Graduate School of Social Work and serves as their Coordinator of Field Education and Admissions for the Lehigh Valley and Reading Campuses. He has worked in numerous clinical, supervisory, and administrative capacities in both public and private sector social service agencies, including 17 years with the VA. He has been an active volunteer and instructor for the American Red Cross DMH team since 1991.

Marcy Vogel, Ph.D., RN recently retired from her position as a certified school nurse at Northampton Area Junior High School. She has taught about human sexuality to all age levels in a variety of settings, including religious institutions, public school settings, and universities. Her research and writing interests include using humor as a teaching strategy, critical thinking skills in education and life decisions, and qualitative research.

Karen Connell, LCSW, MSW, MA is a clinical social worker, educator, and performing artist.  Her work has centered on persons and families living with serious mental illness and those who have experienced traumatic events.  She is certified in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  In addition to her Social Work practice, Karen is an adjunct lecturer in Speech Communication at the Department of Theatre and Dance at Muhlenberg College.  She has been a DMH volunteer and instructor for the American Red Cross since 2001.

John Weaver, LCSW, BCD, ACSW, CBHE is a Casework Supervisor for Northampton County Mental Health. He is a member of the Adjunct Faculty for the ACCESS Program at DeSales University and a former member of the Adjunct Faculties of Marywood University's Graduate School of Social Work and Northampton Community College's Psychology Department. John has been an active volunteer and instructor with the American Red Cross since 1991. ARC has presented him the Clara Barton Honor Award for Meritorious Volunteer Leadership. He is donating half of his royalties from his 1995 book, Disasters: Mental Health Interventions to the ARC National Disaster Relief Fund and his publisher is matching his donation.
