Many of our programs are sponsored by companies, schools, organizations, or professional groups and then tailored specifically for their needs. Consequently, those programs are not always open to the public. Sometime, though, we are able to publicize our training and invite everyone who may be interested. Right now, these are our upcoming public events. |

This class is designed for persons who wish to review items that are frequently seen on the licensure exam. This is not a course that will teach all of the concepts, rather it will help refresh and clarify what you have learned either in school or as a social worker. The class day goes by quickly and a lot of information is covered. Please bring highlighters as manuals are included in the cost and will be provided to you the day of the training, paper, pens, and some persons bring post-it note flags to identify pages in the manual for further study or clarification. The instructors cover what to expect on the day of the examination, how to take a computerized exam, time that is needed for each question, and some test-taking strategies. The cost is $75 for members of NASW-PA and $150 for non-members. Students may want to consider joining NASW, as a student membership is less than $50. |
